For our only weekend here, Ben and Cari took us to Wisconsin to stay in a cabin on Spencer Lake. Shane is really big into fishing and this place was perfect to do just that. At first, I was really hesitant on going because all I'd heard since I got here was how bad the ticks/mosquitoes were (you all know how much I love bugs) but I survived and actually really enjoyed myself. We fished, relaxed, ate, went four-wheeling and played cards the every night! On the last night, we caught turtles and had a turtle race. (Mine won!) Here are the pics...

Lucas loved the turtles but was a little unsure once they were all running around. I thought it was cute how he was holding on to Shane.
And to top the weekend off, Ben and Cari got engaged! It was so sweet and I was honored to witness it. We love you guys! Thank you for a great weekend!
