Sand Hollow

We just got back from Sand Hollow and I wanted to post these before I forgot. This was the first time Lucas had been on a boat (and the first time he ate Twizzlers).

As you can see, he really enjoyed the Twizzlers. I tried to pull his hand out of his mouth to take one picture and he FREAKED OUT! At least he gave me a smile in this one.
Isn't he so cute in his little life-jacket?

We had such a nice day on the water and in the warm weather! Can't wait for Lake Powell! :)

Happy Easter!

We celebrated our 1st Easter this year in Paragonah. (Did I mention that we moved?) Anyway- it all started with the annual Easter Egg hunt in the city park. It turned out really nice becuase there weren't a lot of kids and Lucas could take his time figuring it all out...
Then we saw the Easter Bunny...
I can't say that I blame him; I was even a little freaked out! Even though Lucas wasn't very fond of him this year, the Easter Bunny still came by our house to leave him a basket filled with lots of fun stuff!
Hope you all had a Happy Easter!

It's Been Awhile...

Lucas is now 10 months old and keeping us as busy as ever! Since my last post he has gotten 4 teeth, started walking behind anything he can push, stands on his own (until he realizes what he's doing and panics), waves, and has become a dancing machine! :) Here are a couple of pictures to get you updated...

Our new favorite thing to do is chase each other around the house. As soon as I get on my hands and knees he takes off crawling towards the back of the recliner. He must know that I can't get all the way behind it so as soon as he thinks he's safe he stops and looks behind him to make sure I'm still there. Instead of continuing around the recliner he usually turns around and starts chasing me. One day I grabbed my camera...

I love the bottom picture becuase you can see how much fun he's having and, if you look closely, you can see his 2 bottom teeth. (He refuses to let me get another picture of them!) As you can tell, we are having a ton of fun and I LOVE staying home with him! We can't wait until it warms up enough to play outside! If it would ever quit snowing...
