Labor Day 2011

Here's our Labor Day weekend in pictures...

This year was a lot of fun! Lucas loved the Merry-go-Round, aka "Ho-sees". The second he woke up in the morning he would ask me to ride the "ho-sees". I'm pretty sure everyone got a turn (or two) to ride with him on the Merry-go-Round. He liked the other rides at the "carm-a-bul" but none as much as this!

The parade this year seemed really long but Lucas didn't seem to mind. He sat really good on the side of the road and played with his flag.

A proud moment...

As do most little boys, Lucas has a facination with water; specifically puddles. We moved into a subdivision that has curb and gutter and that is the first place Lucas goes when he's outside- especially when it's full of water. I was on the phone with my sister when I looked up and saw this...

I started yelling for him to get up but Cari told me to grab my camera instead. He must have watched the dogs do it a few times and decided to try it out for himself. Sometimes I wonder where this boy comes up with the things he does! A little ditch water never hurt anybody- right?

You've gotta love little boys! :)

*Later that day I caught Lucas drinking from a puddle in the backyard... It's my favorite because you can see Joey doing the same thing. I love my crazy little guy!
