The rest of our vacation was spent at the "Happiest Place on Earth". I love Disneyland and was so excited to take Lucas there because I knew he would love it as well. We had been talking about it for months in advance and he was all pumped up to be there... until he went on his first ride, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. I didn't get to join (no pregnant people allowed) but I stood at the exit and after seeing a handful of kids come out in tears I knew we were in trouble! Lucas didn't cry but Shane said it was really dark and had loud noises around every corner and let's just say after that it took almost the rest of the morning to talk Lucas back into liking Disneyland. In fact, I was never able to talk him into going back into Toontown to take fun pics because he was scared. Oh well! Once he got over his fear we all had fun. Most of our time was spent in Fantasyland, although California Adventure had some awesome attractions! And most everything we went on I was able to ride too... Yay!
Lucas and his horse, Sally.
Wink!
Finding Nemo Submarine ride.
Shane takes his Toy Story rides very seriously! :)
These are from the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure. It's suppossed to be from the movie "Up" and Lucas loved being able to run around and explore.

Trying to pull out the Sword.
His favorite ride was Dumbo. We probably went on it about 4 times because he thought it was awesome how he could make Dumbo fly "way up too higher".
Daddy showing him how to "fly" Dumbo.Wink!
Soooo excited!!
I had to post this because it's the only picture we have from Disneyland that I'm actually in. I needed to show proof that I was really there! :)Finding Nemo Submarine ride.

Taking a break! Shane and I enjoyed watching people and resting for a little while in the shade while he took a much needed nap.
Sally the sea horse! Do you see the trend? From this trip on, Lucas named everything Sally. I have no idea where he came up with it but it stuck!
This was the beginning of our 2nd day at Disneyland. Before we got to there Lucas was so excited to meet Mickey Mouse and all the other Disney characters. We walked onto Main Street and the line to see Mickey wasn't huge so we decided to wait. As soon as it was his turn Lucas decided he really didn't care to meet him anymore but I wasn't about to wait in line and not get a picture so these are as good as it gets. At first, Lucas was in the middle of Shane and Mickey but wasn't a fan so Mickey moved over and Lucas still didn't know what to think of him...
This picture is the best. You can see how Lucas is pushing away from Shane to get as far away from Mickey as possible! :)These are from the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure. It's suppossed to be from the movie "Up" and Lucas loved being able to run around and explore.
Brother Bear!
There were so many more fun things we did that I didn't get pictures of. One of my favorite things was the Disney Junior- Live on Stage. Everyone sat indian-style on the ground and it was a live show of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and Jake & the Neverland Pirates. All of the kids were singing and dancing and Lucas really got into it! Also, the Monsters Inc. ride was a favorite of his along with Peter Pan. They created a new 'Cars Land' but we missed it by a week! I told Shane it was a good excuse to go back! We had such a fun time- mostly because Lucas really enjoyed himself and I can't wait until we can go again as a family of 4! :)
