Lucas turned five months old a few days before Halloween. For the occasion we decided it was time for the baby food... We started him on cereal and he seemed to enjoy it; He wasn't crazy about it but it was something different. Then we decided to try the real stuff... squash. I put the first spoonful in his mouth and he just sat there with this look on his face and his mouth closed, like he was tasting it and trying to figure out what was going on. Then came the reaction we were waiting for...
He HATED it! I don't know if he thought he was going to get something different in the next spoonful but he kept opening his mouth when the spoon came near and everytime we fed him it looked something like this...
After doing this a few more times Shane started to feel bad so we decided enough was enough and called it a night. Can't say that I blame the little guy...
Squash is YUCKY!!
He is adorable. I hate the baby food stage! Especially if they don't like the taste of it, it makes it even worse. Good luck!
